The Hive is officially a CIC

After several meetings and lots of paperwork, The Hive is officially set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC).

This means we're now a recognised organisation that can apply for funding and grants - and even own our own bank account! There's lots of legal mumbo-jumbo that comes along with this too (that we won't bore you with), but it's a moment of celebration for all Friends of The Hive.

In other news, we'll be just down the road at the Monmouthshire Show this weekend to share our vision for The Hive. If you're planning to come along, look out for Jo, Emma and our other volunteers.
